I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, spending countless hours on Mt. Hood and exploring the outdoors. I never expected to start a clothing brand, but one day, as I walked through one of my favorite outdoor stores, I realized something—all the brands I once loved had become more about pushing a cause than making great apparel.

Suddenly, I felt disconnected. Every logo felt like a statement, every brand had an agenda, and I realized that whether I agreed with them or not, I didn't want to be a walking billboard. I just wanted well-made, timeless apparel—no loud designs, no flashy graphics, no distractions.

So I decided to create it myself.

I was already selling shirts on Etsy, so I thought, why not make something I actually want to wear? Something simple, high-quality, and built for those who love the outdoors—without any agenda attached. That’s how Willamette Oak was born.

Inspired by Mt. Hood, I designed our signature subtle, minimalist logo as a quiet nod to the mountain I’ve spent my life exploring. As I started wearing my designs, people began asking about them. After a few years of selling on Etsy, I knew it was time to create a dedicated space for Willamette Oak—a brand built on timeless design, premium quality, and a deep love for the outdoors.
